Sheri Bassewitz , LCSW

Sheri Bassewitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of clinical experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate emotional and social challenges. She began her career working in hospice, oncology, and home care, later earning certification to work in school settings and most recently practicing in outpatient settings with families and young people. As an LCSW she provides counseling and therapeutic support informed by years of direct work across medical, educational, and community environments.

Sheri has supplemented her clinical roles with hands-on work at specialty camps for children, including programs focused on speech, language, and social-emotional learning, and volunteer summers at a camp serving children with serious illnesses. She has also supervised social workers pursuing licensure, bringing supervisory experience to her clinical practice.
